What You Need To Know What If My Implants Break?
Ask Us Your Questions

Q. My breast implants might be making me sick. Can someone help me afford medical care or help pay for implant removal?

A. We're not doctors or lawyers and we don't provide medical or legal advice, but I can tell you what we know based on speaking with many experts and with women who have had breast implants.

There have been several class action law suits to provide compensation to women whose implants ruptured or caused medical problems. The deadlines to register for compensation for some of these settlements have passed, but some programs will still be available until December 2010. If you might be interested, it’s best to call as soon as possible to see if you qualify.

It is the Office of Plaintiffs' Liaison Counsel, which was created by a judge to help women harmed by implants who want compensation for their medical problems. They will tell you if you qualify for assistance, which ranges from a few hundred dollars to thousands of dollars. It is not intended to help you find a lawyer for an individual law suit.
